Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend. This is what friends are for. When friends go away, we will always remember them forever and the hardest thing to say to a friend is "goodbye forever". We can always count on our friends to be there for us and give us support as that's what friends are for. Friends can always count on each other in times of crisis. True friends are hard to find, thus they are impossible to forget. Friends don't leave your side just when you need them the most.

Friendship is a golden chain, the links are friends so dear and like a rare and precious jewel, its treasured more each year.
Friendship is a feeling of the heart, the special warmth and closeness that you share, the feeling that this person is important, the knowledge of how very much you care.
Friendship is a feeling of the heart, a lasting gift that's found along life's way. Within the bonds you form with special people who come to mean much more than words could say.
Our friends are like angels who brighten our days in all kinds of wonderful magical ways - their thoughtfulness comes as a gift from above, and we feel surrounded by warm.
In this busy world, its refreshing to find someone who still has the time to be kind, someone who still has the faith to believe that the more you give, the more you receive, someone who is ready by thought, word or deed to reach out a hand in the hour of need.
Time is not measured by the years that you live but by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give and each day as it comes, brings a chance to each one. To live to the fullest, leaving nothing undone.

so tell your friends that you treasure them now, before its to late to do so.
Why should we do so? We could help Singapore, to build up a strong economy, strengthen community ties with one another regardless of race and religion, and stay committed to defend the country, we could all do our part in every sector of our society to strengthen Singapore's resilience as a nation.

3Crescendo lands into what will we defend..

Harmony begets harmony =]

We must live in harmony and look out for one another.

We must maintain racial and religious harmony,

to ensure that Singapore has peace and stability.

When Singaporeans understand and are sensitive to

the cultures and traditions of one another, we will

build strong bonds across the different ethnic groups,

we can help to strengthen social cohesion.

We can also look out for one another. As one people,

we have the duty to also contribute to the community

by always helping the less fortunate and

underprivileged among us, regardless of their race,

language, religion, age or nationality. By doing so,

we can further strengthen social cohesion, and also

build a gracious, compassionate society.(=
